We looked at merchant transactions data ten days after rollout and found that there had been 74 transactions across 19 unique users.
Through a voluntary online survey administered through the office email system two days after the roll-out, we also found useful insights which we share below.
When asked about the reasons for non-adoption (so far), it is noteworthy that not even a single user indicated the lack of a smartphone as a barrier. While most respondents in the survey had indicated they had not transacted at the cafeteria yet, a significant number of respondents indicated that they had not downloaded the app yet (23%) or preferred cash (18%).
